چکیده
Abstract Multifunctional materials that are capable of facilitating multiple electrocatalytic processes highly desirable. This work reports the observation bifunctional properties for water‐splitting in layered oxides, featuring 2‐dimensional layers octahedrally coordinated transition metals separated by alkaline‐earth or rare‐earth metals. Remarkably, these able to catalyze both half‐reactions water‐splitting, i. e ., oxygen‐evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen‐evolution (HER). Electrical charge‐transport studies SrLaFe 1‐x Co x O 4‐δ a wide range temperatures, 25 800 °C, indicate semiconducting behavior all three compounds, where there is systematic increase electrical conductivity as function temperature. The end member series, SrLaCoO , exhibits highest charge transport best activity toward OER HER. catalyst also features degree polyhedral distortion well presence oxygen‐vacancies. In addition, this material have favorable electronic configuration enhanced activity.

A synergistic co-doping strategy is proposed to identify a series of BaCo0.9-x Fe x Sn0.1O3-δ perovskites with tunable electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Simply through tailoring the relative concentrations of less OER-active tin and iron dopants, a cubic perovskite structure (BaCo0.7Fe0.2Sn0.1O3-δ) is stabilized, showing intrinsic OER activity >1 order of magnit...

The study of electronic structure of complex systems has been intensely prompted since the cuprate has been considered as potential breakthrough in high Tc superconductivity. Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) is one of the most direct methods of studying the electronic structure of solids. By measuring the kinetic energy and angular distribution of the electrons photoemitted fro...

Development of Supported Bifunctional Electrocatalysts for Unitized Regenerative Fuel Cells
Mixed metal catalysts containing Pt, Ir, Ru, Os, and Rh were synthesized on three different conductive oxide supports, Ebonex, which is a mixture of Ti4O7 and other phases, phase-pure microcrystalline Ti4O7 , and Ti0.9Nb0.1O2 , a doped rutile compound. Ebonex-supported catalysts were prepared as arrays and screened combinatorially for activity and stability as bifunctional oxygen reduction/wate...
